Method Note
: (a) Obtain plan of site (E.g. school grounds) and enlarge plan so that students can record locations of species ‘discovered’ (E.g. trees). (b) Record each species as a circled number on the plan. (c) Draw or photograph each animal / plant. (d) Record all survey dates and names of all participants. (e) Record other landscape and habitat features on the plan. (f) Find out and add further information about recorded species.Show next to name, if known, whether species is rare (R) or common (C), decreasing (D) or increasing (I), threatened (T) or safe (S) nationally.
